ONLINE GENERAL NATIONAL ELECTION

Great NOUN Alumni, the NOUNAA national election comes up on Thursday 25th September, 2014. It will be a general election. The voters will include all Alumni of the university. The NOUNAA CTC plans to forestall incidences of eligible Alumni not getting codes to vote with. Hence, any eligible voter who does not get his code by two days to the election should contact the Secretary General for appropriate action. Cheers!

NOUNAA ELECTION VOTING PATTERN


    The NOUNAA state election holds on Saturday, 20th of September. Voting starts at 9.00am and closes at 6.00pm. Candidates who wish to be present at the control room during the NOUNAA Elections are free to attend. The venue will be the Headquarters of the University. Below are the steps involved in voting:
    • Log on to www.nou.edu.ng/nounelection
    • Enter your voter’s code
    • Select your state
    • Select your preferred candidates from the drop down list
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Submit”
    • Log out from the far right conner.

    COMMENCEMENT OF SCREENING


    Be notified that CANDIDATES’ screening for NOUNAA elections will commence on 15th and end on 17th. The requirements for the screening are:
    ·         Certificate/Statement of Result.
    ·         Teller of Alumni Fee upon graduation.
    ·         Teller for payment of nomination form.
    ·         Candidates must not have been involved in any disciplinary matter.

    A screening committee has been set up to carry out this exercise. These are the names of the people in the committee; LAWRENCE ADEBAYO, OBUKWELU IFEANYI , OJOBAH LAWRENCE.

    SALES OF NOMINATION FORMS CONTINUE

    The sales and submission of nomination forms into elective positions of NOUNAA have been extended to Friday 05/09/14.  Hence, alumni who wish to be a part of this elite group of progressives willing to take our Alma mater to lofty heights, can still come in. Cheers!
